Ghanaian afrobeat star, Gasmilla has vigorously descended and condemned BET Award winner, Sarkodie for setting out on a trend labeled, #BringAzontoBack.
In an interview with Abeiku Santana in regards to the trend, Gasmilla was pissed as he disclosed that Azonto isn’t dead, but instead has been growing since the time Sarkodie and his colleagues abandoned the genre which made them.
According to Gasmilla, Sarkodie is an opportunist who uses his brand to bait rising or up and coming artiste for collaborative effort all in he name of helping them. He expressed that it’s a technique Sarkodie has been using to keep his brand relevant.
Gasmilla additionally expressed that he is in fact superior to all the Ghanaian musicians and has been the main artiste holding down the Azonto ‘Genre’ since 2011.
However, he encouraged Sarkodie to seek forgiveness from Nshorna Muzik for reasons unknown yet.
