
Ambee, the fast-turning dancehall king in Ghana is charging the government to place a tax on alcoholic drinks to support the collapsing National Health Insurance Scheme.
The ‘MY LOVE” hitmaker said, the rate of alcohol consumption is currently high and still on the rise among Ghanaians especially the youth, hence the tax would help take care of the health of consumers as well as reduce intake of alcohol towards lowering healthcare costs.
