KiDi, the beloved Ghanaian musician and Lynx signee, is set to publish his long-awaited debut album, Sugar on the 31st of May 2019.
The project accompanied by a Rex-directed movie with the same title also stars actors James Gardiner, Adjetey Anang,DKB, and Fella Makafui.
Musicians Cina Soul, Kwesi Arthur, and the fast-rising Veana Negasi constitute the rest of the cast.
The movie premieres at the Sliverbrid Cinemas, Accra Mall.
The 12 track album also features Ghanaian rapper Medikal, Mr Eazi, Stonebwoy, and Nigerian pop stars Mayorkun and Peruzzi.
The album is the first 2019 body of work published by the Richie Mensah-led imprint. It follows Rockstar, Kuami
Eugene’s commercially fruitful CD released late 2018.
Sugar was led with the Kwesi Arthur-assisted “Mr. Bad Man, also includes songs like Adiepena, Thunder, Letter to Sister Afia, Cinderella, Sugar Daddy, Fakye Me among others.
The highly-anticipated album also assembles top producers like MOG, Richie Mensah, Willis Beat, Dhatbeatgod and DMW’s Fresh.
