Well, the Freedom hitmaker has come out to provide detailed meaning on what Gringo actually means.

In an interview with Adom Tv, Shatta Wale revealed that Gringo is a Mexican word which means ‘foreigner’.

He adds that he used to be called Bandana and now that he has re-branded to Shatta Wale, he sees himself as a foreigner who is about to use his mystery to conquer his domain.

He said:

It’s a Mexican term meaning foreigner. People saw Shatta Wale as a foreigner. This is a stranger who came to conquer the music industry.
